Life Lessons

Meditations for Artists and Wanderers

Peaceful Protest

Loving all our Colours

One-at-a-time meditations and contemplations to help deepen our ministry in life. These are my life lessons, things I’ve come to revere on my journey — life take-aways. Choose what calls to you or work your way down from the top. Explore, meditate on, or journal about your experience for five minutes, an hour, a day, or a week.

We are redefining our life.

“MAY I LEAVE LOVE, WHEREVER I PLACE MY FEET.”

A beautiful mantra to practice before you leave the house in the morning.

– from the LIFE LESSONS chapter in The Grace of Redefining Love.

“A clarion call for anyone searching for happiness and peace. The Grace of Redefining Love empowers readers to transform their lives by inspiring love, possibility and inclusiveness. Read this book and you will receive powerful, yet simple, poetical practices that can change the trajectory of your life.”

—Karen Salmansohn, best selling author of THINK HAPPY

Artists do Many Things

They write stuff and drink coffee at Starbucks.

They eat well.

They are advocates for love, justice and social change.

They photograph expressions of love.

They have friends and partners and lovers.

They are social creatures and recluses.

They are leaders and followers.

They are inclusive.

They are bold and meek.

They are strong and weak.

They are colourful and come in many colours.

They are without labels yet loved and loving.

They stitch you up and bandage your wounds.

They drive you to meetings and clean your homes.

They are YOU and me passing by on the street.

ARTISTS: Do, many things.

Honor yourselves, honor each other – Namaste 🙂

THE QUESTION REQUESTS

Goodness

USE ME TO DO GOOD THINGS

The artist is always seeing — All — That — Is. So the question requests not what I wish — but rather that God deliver through us. The artist holds space to birth Divine. Use me.

COLOUR CONSPIRACY

poems

Observe What You Encounter Each Day

COLOUR CONSPIRACY

Severed cotton clouds
painted woolen spots
of beauty
some touch the sky with gray
from a thin paintbrush
sun spaced colour
of brilliance move cross horizons
creating illusions and beams
rainbow colours
darkened to the earth
cotton clouds become black
then we wait for the next
color conspiracy

The NEW Destiny

In The New Destiny lives HOPE, for in leaving our past behind – LOVE expands.

HOPE

LOVE EXPANDS

THE NEW DESTINY

The sudden wealth of knowledge
changes your view
steps that led to a bridge
over a river you found
a new destiny

you cannot turn back
for there is nothing
just faded colour against nothing
what you have now
is essence a feeling of impermanence

tonight you feel the real still
outside is empty outside is heavy
throughout a dense hum
that entangles us all
