No Fear Friday 2017

empathy and compassion

Choosing Love

No Fear Friday is a weekly campaign on Instagram aimed at replacing fear with love. The Campaign, now in it’s third year, center’s around inclusiveness.

“no one is free until we are all free” — Dr. Martin Luther King

No Fear Friday asks us not to ignore these tumultuous times — but rather it encourages us to seek out the goodness in life.

As fear has risen to epidemic status around the world, it is important now — more than ever, to nurture love and facilitate compassion with each other.

We must cease glorifying “reality television” and negative programming as role models for our children and as examples of how we should treat each other. We have been disillusioned, we are scared and it is time for a social change toward a higher Love.

No Fear Friday’s parent platform is YESRISING — a global movement for Love and possibility. is a conversation of Love and a space for global thinking. The mission of YesRising is to inspire the global movement of Love, Possibility, and Inclusivenessthrough the ministry of words, music and art.

I have learned over the years that when one’s mind is made up, this diminishes fear; knowing what must be done does away with fear. ~Rosa Parks

Increase good in the world today. Follow No Fear Friday on Instagram, Twitter, or Facebook. Or, connect with No Fear Friday’s parent platform YESRISING — a social media conversation of LOVE at yesrising.comon Facebook, LinkedIn, Medium or twitter as @YesRisingDotCom

Remember — you and I have the power to change the world. We are changing it, with each word we speak, and every thought we think.

Be the change you want to see in the world. ~Mahatma Ghandi

P.S. Coming soon! I’m publishing my third book titled THE GRACE OF REDEFINING LOVE, Expanding Live to Include Everything. My first book MERGING WORLDS is available on AMAZON.

If you can’t figure out your purpose, figure out your passion. For your passion will lead you right into your purpose. — TD Jakes

Let’s create a wholehearted world. Love over fear…there is no other viable option.

And, as Joseph Campbell said. “Follow Your Bliss”.

NO FEAR FRIDAY is a weekly campaign on INSTAGRAM focused on our choosing LOVE over fear. Namaste. 🙂

Slowing ourselves down for just a few minutes each morning and night helps bring us to our heart’s center. In my experience, within 7 minutes we begin to notice a release, a peace.  Using meditation, basic breathing techniques, yoga, exercise, walking in nature…any thing we can fit it in our busy day, is how we begin to see possibility and hear our world speak to us. Namaste 🙂

AWAKEN and See Miracles Everywhere

“Possibility speaks to us all the time. It speaks through you and me, and trees, and rivers, and mountains and through birds, and dogs and babies. Messages, connections, and signs are here to guide us on our journey. Stay awake, everything speaks. Everything has something to say.” – from merging worlds book

Everything is transforming. Energy changing – there is nothing permanent or even tangible the way we believe it once was…

Dreaming like wind on the earth
the sun may shine yet the rain might fall
bright like the sun at day
shine the circles at night
mystical charms rhythm will carry
floating by like waves in the sea
every now and then the music will play
but cast away the bird takes flight
high in the sky of love and respect

-from HERO, a collection of metaphysical poems 1990-2001

Little bird, little one

sweeping in the sky

fly, fly, fly away

little bird little one
chirp and once again

seen in the nest of time

in a world together
sing, sing, sing in tune
to an ocean of movement

little bird little one

sweeping in the sky

someday we’ll meet

— from HERO, a collection of poems from 1990-2001

“We are the dream come true – the impossible dream, the song waiting to be sung. We are one love, inspired and emerging from the outtakes of our successes and failures, longing to become the masterpiece.” -from MERGING WORLDS

FUEL: Pineapple

FUEL: Stuff we put in our body

Immune support, bone strength, digestive aid, and an anti-inflammatory pineapple could be defined as — superfood staple.

Did you know that each scale on a pineapple is actually a berry?

First discovered in 1493 on the island of Guadalupe, research indicates that our scaly friend helps reduce mucus and aids in comforting sinus conditions.

FUEL: Stuff we put in our body

It is associated with reducing severe inflammation and tumor growth— and according to a retired professor I met 25 years ago, can sustain us alone for several days if that is all we had to eat.

Pineapples are a complex combination — high in vitamin C and manganese, fiber and the enzyme Bromelain, which breaks down protein, this is one of my top picks for all around healthy eating.

Used in smoothies, sides of fruit or in marinade for meals, we can be sure our 82 calories per cup fruit is a good choice.
